2. UNITED GRINDING

UNITED GRINDING is known for its innovative technologies, which are used in various industries such as automotive, medical, aerospace, toolmaking, transport and heavy industry, mechanical engineering, energy and precision engineering. The company is headquartered in Bern and employs more than 2300 people at more than 20 locations.

UNITED GRINDING’s main products include high-precision machines for surface grinding, profile grinding and profile grinding, high-end tool processing machines and additive machine tools.

3. Starrag Tornos Group

The StarragTornos Group was formed from the merger  of Starrag Group Holding AG and Tornos Holding AG and is one of the global suppliers to the machine tool industry. The Group is headquartered in Roschacherberg

The company specialises in the manufacture of milling, turning, drilling and grinding machines that are used in a wide range of industries, including the medical, energy and transport sectors.
