The company was founded in 1923 and has continued to develop ever since. Arburg achieved a turnover of around 750 million euros in 2022 and employs around 3,600 people worldwide. The company was founded in 1965 and is today a globally recognised supplier of machines and system solutions for the production of moulded rubber parts.
One of DESMA’s outstanding products is the S3 series of injection moulding machines, which were developed for the efficient and precise processing of rubber and silicones. These machines are characterised by their robustness, high productivity and user-friendliness. DESMA also offers customised automation solutions that optimise the production process and increase profitability.
DESMA achieved a turnover of around 150 million euros in 2022 and employs around 500 people. The company is known for its innovative strength and its ability to fulfil complex production requirements. DESMA attaches great importance to the development of sustainable and energy-efficient machines in order to minimise the ecological footprint of production.
3. Dr Boy GmbH & Co. KG
Dr. Boy GmbH & Co KG, based in Neustadt-Ferntal, Rhineland-Palatinate, was founded in 1968 and is a specialist manufacturer of compact injection moulding machines. The company has concentrated on the development and production of machines with clamping forces of up to 1,250 kN (125 tonns) and thus offers solutions for applications where high precision and efficiency are required.
A special product from Dr. Boy is the BOY XS machine, a particularly compact injection moulding machine that is ideal for the production of small parts and for use in laboratory environments. This machine is known for its high precision and reliability and is used worldwide in various industries, including the medical technology and electronics industries
Dr Boy achieved a turnover of around 40 million euros in 2022 and employs around 180 people. The company is known for its customised solutions and high quality standards. Dr Boy places particular emphasis on the energy efficiency of its machines and is developing new technologies to reduce energy consumption and operating cost.
